Can Mad Men’s Matthew Weiner do straight-up comedy? Sure, Mad Men has its funny moments, but Are You Here stars Zach Galifianakis and Owen Wilson as BFFs, with Amy Poehler playing Galifianakis’s sister. It appears to be a wacky story involving inheritance and friendship, with Wilson spouting the very Weiner-esque line: “That’s the thing about friendship. It’s a lot rarer than love because there’s nothing in it for anybody.†Are You Here will be out on VOD and in theaters on August 22.
