Last night’s 90-minute episode of Louie was based off a true experience in Louis C.K.’s life. Via EW, here’s audio of C.K. telling the story of stealing a bunch of scales from his science class as a teen to trade for pot, recorded at the LA standup show Comedy Death-Ray in 2006. The version of the story C.K. told as a standup is not nearly as dark as the fictionalized TV version, but pretty entertaining nonetheless.
