Seth Meyers has only been hosting for six months, but it’s already quite clear his Late Night is going to be a very different show from Jimmy Fallon’s. It is a bit more restrained, a bit more highbrow. Case in point: “Live New Yorker Cartoons.†For the second time, Meyers had The New Yorker’s editor-in-chief David Remnick on to watch Late Night writers perform live versions of New Yorker cartoons and confront exactly what that looks like. It’s grim — as in the Grim Reaper, who of course shows up in one, as they are New Yorker cartoons.
