No surprises here: A few days shy of its season-five premiere, AMC has announced that ratings bonanza The Walking Dead will be returning for a sixth season, during which the characters will no doubt continue to produce awesome kill faces, have really dumb ideas, and be watched by more people than the Olympics. So it goes.
