Real World/Road Rules star Diem Brown died Friday at the age of 32. She had battled ovarian cancer since the age of 23, conquering her second bout with it last year after being rediagnosed in 2012, though the disease returned in August of this year, to her stomach and colon. She competed in six MTV RW/RR challenges while fighting the disease and was always transparent about her illness, which served as inspiration to many. Brown used her platform to create MedGift, a gift-registry website for those struggling with medical issues, and she hosted a 2012 MTV special where she spoke to young cancer survivors. In her final days, she was quoted as saying, “No matter what it is, you’re going to have the bad days, but if you have hope throughout, you won, no matter what the results … Life is so beautiful.â€
