What kind of biopic is Selma going to be? From the looks of this first trailer, it’ll be the kind where characters say things like, “There are 70 million people watching!†over the swell of inspiring orchestral music. It’s also the kind of film where all the major figures from American history are played by British actors — not just David Oyewolo as MLK, but also Tom Wilkinson and Tim Roth as LBJ and George Wallace, respectively. All appear to be solid choices. See, The Butler, this isn’t that hard!
