To commemorate the HD remastering of the beloved — and arguably greatest — TV show of our time, Baltimore Sun crime reporter Justin Fenton went around the city to take photos of locations used on The Wire. Fenton visited the opening scenes of the first season, made a trip to the waterfront, and went to Marlo’s spot. Oh, and of course he took a before and after photo of the offices of the Sun. It looks like time may have passed, but some things don’t really change.
