It’s actually nice to see the actresses THR has deemed most Oscar-relevant subtly refer to their real-life friendships. Mostly, everyone just adores Laura Dern.
The actors’ round table is less adoring, although Benedict Cumberbatch and Eddie Redmayne bond over playing British geniuses. And Michael Keaton reassures Channing Tatum that it’s okay that he didn’t go to college. Lesson learned: Don’t go to college if you don’t want to go to college and there’s a good chance you’ll be a very successful actor.
