Matthew McConaughey has had the one-handed, I’m-driving-a-Lincoln pose down for a couple of decades, apparently. The Criterion Collection published a couple of spliced clips yesterday of the actor’s audition tape, from the early ‘90s, which featured him trying out to be David Wooderson from Richard Linklater’s Dazed and Confused. The footage shows McConaughey’s fake driving skills, self-confidence, and absurd tan, among other gems.
