AMC has another comedy in the works. THR reports that the network is developing a half-hour comedy called Fast Boys about the origins of the fast food industry. Set in San Bernardino, California after World War II, the series is described as having “shades of There Will Be Blood and early Tim Burton-esque Americana†and hails from newcomer Anthony Pucillo. Fast Boys makes the latest comedy in development at AMC for a potential series – the network passed on its first-ever comedy pilot We Hate Paul Revere last year.
