NewsRadio alum and one-fifth of The Kids in the Hall Dave Foley just landed a starring sitcom role. Deadline reports that Foley has been cast opposite Ken Jeong in the in-the-works pilot Dr. Ken, a semi-autobiographical comedy based on Jeong’s life about “a frustrated HMO doctor juggling medicine, marriage and parenting, and succeeding at none of them.†Foley will play Pat, the head of the hospital where Jeong works. Foley’s most recent television appearances include ABC’s The Middle, TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland, and CTV’s Spun Out.
