HBO announced a round of premiere dates today, and two new comedies are set to make their TV debuts in June. According to Deadline, the series premiere of Ballers and The Brink will air after the True Detective premiere on Sunday, June 21st at 9:30pm and 10:00pm, respectively. Ballers stars Dwayne Johnson as a former all-pro running back and Rob Corddry as his “former boss-turned-socially inept financial advisor†and also stars Omar Benson Miller, John David Washington, Rob Corddry, Troy Garity, Donovan Carter, Jazmyn Simon, Taylor Cole, and LeToya Luckett. The Brink comes from Weeds writer Roberto Benabib and his brother Kim and stars Tim Robbins and Jack Black as the Secretary of State and a low-level military officer during a geopolitical crisis. Pablo Schreiber, Aasif Mandvi, Maribeth Monroe, Eric Ladin, Esai Morales, and Geoff Pierson round out the cast.
