All 180 episodes of Seinfeld are coming to Hulu, Vulture has confirmed. While The Wall Street Journal reports that the digital subscription service will pay Sony roughly $700,000 per episode, sources familiar with the deal suggest the number could be higher. This helluva pact is significant not only because that’s a lot of money, but also because this is the first time all nine seasons of Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld’s comedy powerhouse will be available in the same streaming place. (Time to get your binge-marathon gear ready, that’s a lot of Seinfeld. Shoot, that also means a lot of Hulu commercials. Sorry, glass half-full, glass half-full.) Hulu and Sony declined to comment further on their arrangement, but Hulu is expected to formally unveil specifics at a presentation to advertisers Wednesday.
