Following the tried-and-tested Hollywood formula of making sequels, Patti Smith will follow up her National Book Award–winning memoir Just Kids with another memoir, M Train, coming in October. Smith says the book is a “roadmap to my life,†and will use 18 different “stations†— all of them cafés, it seems — that were important for her creative process.
