Jimmy Kimmel is a classy guy, and he just made a very classy move out of respect for David Letterman. According to The New York Times, Kimmel has decided not to air a new episode of his ABC late night show on Thursday May 20th, the night David Letterman makes his Late Show farewell over on CBS. “I have too much respect for Dave to do anything that would distract viewers from watching his final show,†Kimmel said on the news. “Plus, I’ll probably be crying all day, which makes it hard to work.†Elsewhere in late night, Comedy Central’s The Daily Show and The Nightly Show will be off the air that week, while TBS’s Conan and NBC’s The Tonight Show are set to air new episodes.
