Jimmy Kimmel is a total David Letterman stan. When he was younger, he hosted Late Show viewing parties, had a Letterman-themed cake for his 16th birthday, and even had a “L8 Nite†vanity plate for his first car. During his tribute, Kimmel runs a vintage Letterman clip that eerily sums up exactly how we feel, then lets his band leader Cleto Escobedo say some words about his Late Show counterpart, Paul Shaffer. Out of respect to Letterman’s last show tonight, Kimmel is airing a rerun. Why is it so dusty in here?!
