People whose bladders were strong enough to stay put during the Age of Ultron credits got to see one of Marvel’s patented post-credits teasers this weekend: a shot of purple planet-eater Thanos picking up an Infinity Gauntlet (the glove that holds the Infinity Stones from various Marvel films) and vowing to hunt down the glowing MacGuffins himself. But wait — didn’t we already see an Infinity Gauntlet in the first Thor movie, where it was safe and sound in Odin’s vault in Asgard? What gives? Marvel’s Kevin Feige explains: “There are two different gloves,†he told CinemaBlend. “That is not Odin’s vault that you see at the end.†Does that mean the Infinity Gauntlet in Asgard was just a fun little Easter egg, like the Guardians of the Galaxy post-credits scene? Or does the second glove mean that one of the Avengers will be picking up a Gauntlet of their own? We’ll find out in the two-part Avengers: Infinity War, by which point everyone will be hyped out about another post-credits scene.
