Production has officially begun in Vancouver (wrong city, we know) on AMC’s L.A.-set spinoff Walking Dead series, Fear the Walking Dead. Doing what any responsible network should do in such a scenario, AMC released a teaser that has a mix of hyped-up sound bites and explanatory quotes. There are some cool behind-the-scenes looks in here, but most important, some reassurance from the creators that, no, you don’t have to have watched the Walking Dead, and, yes, the timeline is going way back to the start of the outbreak. The first six episodes will be out in late summer, so let’s hope production goes swimmingly.
