Does it seem weird that nobody’s made a “Miracle on the Hudson†movie yet? What’s the matter, does Paul Greengrass not want an Oscar? Fortunately, Clint Eastwood — the cuddly Paul Greengrass — is stepping in: Hero pilot Chesley “Sully†Sullenberger announced today that Eastwood would be making a film about his life, adapted from Sullenberger’s memoir, Highest Duty: My Search for What Really Matters. There’s no word on casting, though it should be mentioned that this very site recommended J.K. Simmons for the Sully role literally the day after the fateful plane crash. Can’t you just hear it? “Sorry, geese, that’s not quite my tempo.â€
