The Green Inferno, Eli Roth’s tribal horror flick and first directorial effort in eight years, will finally get a release, Deadline reports. The movie will hit roughly 1,000 screens on September 25, thanks to the help of BH Tilt, Universal, and High Top Releasing. (Roth’s latest was supposed to premiere last September, but it got stuck on financial hurdles.) “The Green Inferno is a wild, fun ride that took us deeper into the Amazon than anyone has ever taken a film crew,†Roth said in a statement. Fun! But how much fun are we talking? Like normal, terrifying Roth fun or laughing-at-cannibalism fun?
