The Man Booker Prize has announced its long list, or “Man Booker Dozen,†for 2015, including five U.S. authors (USA! USA!). You’ll remember this is the second year that the Man Booker has opened the competition up to English-speaking countries outside of the U.K., the Commonwealth, Ireland, and Zimbabwe. Among the nominees are Hanya Yanagihara, who described her influences for A Little Life for Vulture. Here’s the complete list:
