Now, thanks to Empire, we’ve finally got a look at just how obnoxious an entrepreneur Eisenberg’s Luthor will be: The answer, unsurprisingly, is very obnoxious. Not only does his company have both “Corp†and “Industries†in its name, he’s also got a homemade basketball court, plenty of self-aggrandizing neon, and a blazer that just screams, “I am personally responsible for the displacement of thousands of low-income families throughout the DC Comics equivalent of the Bay Area.†After Ant-Man, Terminator Genisys, and others, this is the surest sign yet that the tech douche is the onscreen villain of our times.
