The zombies of The Walking Dead aren’t immune to time or the elements, and each season they have gotten progressively more decomposed, or as zombie maestro and executive producer Greg Nicotero says, the walkers are like “pumpkins [that have] rotted into a puddle of goo because of the sun.†Basically this means that the walkers for the upcoming sixth season will be the gnarliest, most wretched-looking members of the undead yet.
