According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC is currently developing a reboot of Xena: Warrior Princess, the syndicated Hercules spinoff that delighted after-school audiences throughout the ‘90s. There’s no word on Lucy Lawless’s involvement, though THR’s sources say the network is looking to find her a role both on-camera and/or behind the scenes. One unexpected surprise: The project is said to be a “modern reboot,†which means the writers may finally stop being so coy about exactly what was going on with Xena and Gabrielle.
