Not long after earning a third season renewal and a round of Emmy nominations, Jill Soloway’s Amazon comedy Transparent now has an official season 2 premiere date. At TCA today, the streaming network announced that Transparent will return on Friday, December 4th. “Over the course of the past year, as it has become this tsunami in the zeitgeist, the most exciting part is the civil rights movement,†Soloway said. “Even though we’re making a television show, to feel like it’s all for a larger cause is the most exciting part of all of this.†Check out our season 1 review here.
