While it might be difficult to break the fourth wall during a play and tell Madonna to stop texting on her phone, stand-up comedy is interactive! A comic can always clap back at a disruptive audience member. Or, in the words of George Carlin, “Fuck you and your sister and your wife, and if you’ve got a kid, I hope your fucking kid dies in a car fire.â€
