Here’s the latest trailer for The Final Girls, a horror comedy directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson that debuted at SXSW earlier this year. The film follows the daughter of a deceased ‘80s horror movie star who “finds herself pulled into the world of her mom’s most famous movie. Reunited, the women must fight off the film’s maniacal killer.†Taissa Farmiga plays the daughter, Malin Akerman plays the mom, and the cast is filled with funny people like Alia Shawkat, Thomas Middleditch, Adam DeVine, and more. The movie hits theaters on Friday, October 9th.
