There’s some good news and some bad news over at NBC. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has decided the fate of two freshman comedies by canceling Craig Robinson’s Mr. Robinson and renewing Jerrod Carmichael’s The Carmichael Show for a second season. Mr. Robinson had been in development since 2013 and was picked up for a six-episode run last year. All Mr. Robinson episodes aired last month, while The Carmichael Show wrapped up its six-episode debut season last week.
