Elizabeth Banks must’ve enjoyed the experience of her directorial debut in Pitch Perfect 2, because she’s also directing Pitch Perfect 3. According to Variety, Banks has officially signed on to direct the sequel, which also has Kay Cannon attached to write and Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, and Brittany Snow onboard to star. Pitch Perfect 3 is currently slated for an August 4, 2017 release; Banks is also set to make her SNL hosting debut next month.
