Modern Family executive producer Danny Zuker has a new comedy in the works at ABC. Deadline reports that the network has given a put pilot commitment to Family Show, a single-cam workplace/family comedy from Zuker that follows “the imperfect people who strive to be half as good as the perfect TV family they create every week for America.†The series is set behind the scenes of a family sitcom and follows the crew members on set and at home, Larry Sanders Show-style. Zuker will write the pilot and serve as a co-executive producer. Zuker isn’t the only Modern Family EP with a new and obviously titled comedy in the works this week; Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh also landed a put pilot commitment at CBS yesterday for a new workplace comedy called Workplace.
