Kendrick Lamar has (maybe) seen Drake’s video for “Hotline Bling,†and is here to challenge him on the dance floor — only he brought Terry Crews for reinforcement. The two star in the video (a.k.a. “black comedyâ€) for Kendrick’s sexual-innuendo-filled “These Walls,†off To Pimp a Butterfly. What starts out as a story recounted from a guy (comedian Corey Holcomb) in jail about a house party with strippers somehow segues into a talent show/audition for a third Magic Mike that has Kendrick and Crews expertly hitting the quan. All may not end well for our imprisoned protagonist (though the video’s “to be continued,†so who knows), but at least he’ll always have his own crazy Zola story to tell.
