With a cast of known eccentrics that includes Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, and of course, Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular Doctor, Dr. Strange has already started gunning for the title of the weirdest Marvel movie yet. The next logical step? Casting one of the leads of a critically-acclaimed little Amazon TV show for the superhero project. The Wrap reports that Amy Landecker, who has appeared in A Serious Man and Enough Said in addition to playing Sarah Pfefferman on Transparent, has joined the cast of the project in an as-yet unknown role. Do you suppose Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige spends his downtime watching creatively ambitious relationship-driven television? How delightfully strange!
