Ed Helms has a new comedy in development at FX. According to Deadline, the network has put into development a half-hour comedy produced by Ed Helms called Starters, “a dark comedy set in America’s true underbelly of chemical addiction and appetizers: corporate theme restaurant chains.†Author and humorist Dan Kennedy will write, and former Onion News Network executive producer/director Will Graham is attached to direct. Helms is also behind another comedy in development at Fox called Weird Like Us by former Colbert Report writer Max Werner.
