Showtime announced Wednesday that it has renewed two of its prestige shows, Homeland and The Affair. Alex Gansa and Howard Gordon’s national-security thriller Homeland, currently in its fifth season, will air the final two episodes of its Berlin season. While we don’t know what season six will bring, we can say that fräulein Claire Danes’s cry-face and terrorism are two solid bets. Sarah Treem’s The Affair, which fractured into four different perspectives this season, gets a third season to make you feel better (or not?) about your own marriages. It’s showtime!
