‘Full Frontal’ and ‘The Daily Show’ Are Having Lots of Fun with Those Ted Cruz Videos

In case you missed it, earlier this week it was discovered that Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz uploaded over a dozen hours of raw campaign ad footage to YouTube, and it’s quickly becoming a goldmine for people with a sense of humor and editing skills. During last night’s Daily Show, Trevor Noah introduced a new segment viewers can participate in called “Cruz Your Own Adventure†and played two videos using Cruz footage – one in the style of a ‘90s sitcom called Senator Dad, and a much more ominous series called Cruz Control. Meanwhile, the team behind Samantha Bee’s upcoming TBS show Full Frontal has been tweeting quick edited clips called “Cruz Cuts,†and they’re a total delight.
