First Chi-Raq, and now another Julianne Moore/Todd Haynes collaboration? Amazon continues its commitment to changing the game: The Wrap reports that Amazon Studios is closing in on a deal to produce and distribute Wonderstruck, based on the titular novel by The Invention of Hugo Cabret author Brian Selznick, with Carol director Haynes at the helm and Moore set to star. Now it’s only a matter of time before Amazon has fully transitioned to signify “award-winning classic films†from “that butt-lifting underwear you accidentally clicked on once two years ago but still see offered to you in Google ads.â€
