Tony Visconti, David Bowie’s producer and close friend for nearly five decades, has written a tribute to the singer, who died on Sunday at 69. In a Facebook post, Visconti calls Bowie’s death “a work of Art,” saying he was aware that their work together on Bowie’s final album, Blackstar, would be his last with the legend. Visconti first collaborated with Bowie on his 1969 masterpiece Space Oddity, spurring a 50-year creative partnership. Read Visconti’s full tribute below:
