Stephen Colbert only grows stronger as the Iowa caucuses approach. From toasting the fallen Republican candidates as a Caesar Flickerman look-alike to doing straight-up behind-the-desk commentary, watching Colbert riff on the various political candidates is nothing short of delightful. Last night he took a look at the GOP’s two unsavory choices ahead of the Iowa caucuses: Donald Trump and Ted Cruz — or, as Senator Lindsey Graham called them, the choice between getting “shot†or “poisoned.†He also called Senator Cruz a half-melted G.I. Joe, a truth that, now that we see, we cannot un-see.
