Erinn Hayes just signed on for a TV role that’s, to say the least, a little different from her work on Childrens Hospital. According to Variety, Hayes will costar in Kevin James’s untitled multi-cam comedy in the works at CBS, which centers on James as “a newly retired police officer looking forward to spending more quality time with his wife and three kids, only to discover he faces much tougher challenges at home than he ever did on the streets.†Hayes will play his wife of 20 years Donna, “who’s had to hold the family together until he retires from the police force.†Taylor Spreitler, Mary-Charles Jones, and James DiGiacomo will play the couple’s kids, and Ryan Cartwright and Leonard Earl Howze round out the cast.
