As expected, The Jinx’s Robert Durst has pled guilty to gun charges, the New York Times reports. The real-estate magnate appeared in New Orleans federal court on Wednesday to plead guilty to illegally possessing a .38-caliber revolver that the FBI found in his hotel room during his arrest in March 2015 for the murder of his friend Susan Berman. That arrest took place the day before the airing of The Jinx’s season finale, in which Durst, 72, was famously caught saying, “Killed them all, of course†on a live mic. As part of his plea bargain, Durst will be sentenced to 85 months (a little over seven years) in federal prison. He is expected to be transferred to Los Angeles federal prison by August 18 (the deadline for his arraignment), where he’ll face the first-degree murder charge.
