Selena Gomez, described as “one of the most sought-after women in the world†by charming British radio host Cel Spellman, has heard her share of pick-up lines. Appearing on BBC Radio 1 this week, she heard a real howler. Spellman played three gaudy pick-up lines for her, the best of which came from a a 12-year-old British boy named Max, who seems prematurely promiscuous: “Are you Google?†Max asks, “Because you’ve got everything I need.†[Swipes left.] She points out that, while she may have everything Max needs, he’s missing one thing she needs: 18 years of age.
