Tina Fey Gives Some Updates on the ‘Mean Girls’ Musical

Tina Fey and her husband Jeff Richmond have been developing a Mean Girls musical for the past few years, and during her visit to last night’s Watch What Happens Live, Fey gave a few more updates on the project. According to Fey, no cast members from the film will be involved, the musical style will be more classic Broadway than pop, and as far as how long we’ll have to wait until it debuts, well…it’ll probably be a while: “2027. Whenever Hamilton closes. I’m gonna wait it out.�
