Here’s a clip from last night’s Late Show, where Stephen Colbert meets special guest Steve Martin in the forest to sing a beautiful song together about friendship. Unfortunately for Colbert, Martin doesn’t exactly consider him a true friend: “Stephen, TV friends isn’t the same as being real friends. I think of you as an acquaintance.†So not a great ending for Colbert, but for whoever Gary is, it’s a pretty flattering song.
