Good-bye, ladies; hello, X-Men. Noted British comedian and lip-sync enthusiast Stephen Merchant has joined the cast of Wolverine 3 in an unspecified role, as first reported by Deadline. Hugh Jackman confirmed the film would be his last adventure as everyone’s favorite mutant, so we can only begin to imagine what bitingly sharp wit Merchant can bring to the final saga. Or, who knows, maybe he’ll play a voice-only baddie named Peter Ian Staker. Either way, this will be Merchant’s first foray into a blockbuster franchise. He’s come a long way since The Office, eh?
