In an exercise in 1990s theater on Colbert last night, Steve Buscemi, who stars in Fargo, reenacted the story of the time John Kasich, presidential hopeful and sometime media critic, once tried to get his local Blockbuster to pull the Coen Brothers classic Fargo from its shelves. Why? Because Blockbuster jokes are funny, and John Kasich jokes are funny, and jokes about that wood chipper scene in Fargo are also funny. But censorship isn’t funny, kids. Remember that.
