Fox just ordered a handful of new shows, including two new single-cam comedies starring Kaitlin Olson and Adam Pally. According to Deadline, both The Mick and Making History have been ordered to series at the network. The Mick follows Mackenzie “The Mick†Murphy (Kaitlin Olson) as “a hard-living, foul-mouthed woman who moves to affluent Greenwich, Conn., to raise the spoiled kids of her wealthy sister who has fled the country to avoid a federal indictment. She quickly learns what everyone else already knows: other people’s children are awful.†Making History stars Adam Pally, Leighton Meester, and Yassir Lester as “three friends from two different centuries as they try to balance the thrill of time travel with the mundane concerns of their present-day lives,†and Last Man on Earth’s Phil Lord and Chris Miller serve as co-executive producers.
