A few months ago, it was revealed that Supergirl and its fellow DC Comics-based shows The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow all occupy a shared universe. This fall, they’ll also share a channel. Supergirl has been renewed for a second season, but with a catch: It’s moving from CBS to the CW, where it’ll coexist with those aforementioned series, all produced by Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg. The CW is partially owned by the CBS Corporation, and it’s unclear what the move might mean. Since there were rumors that the delayed renewal was due to budget negotiations, will we perhaps see a lower-budget take on the Maid of Might? They could always make like the ‘50s Adventures of Superman TV show and just have Supergirl jump through windows instead of fly!
