No one sounds like Joanna Newsom except Joanna Newsom. That voice! That harp-playing! She swung by Jimmy Kimmel to play a couple of songs off Divers, her most recent album. Newsom, who, like Radiohead, has a wonderful working relationship with God-level filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson (he directed her in the masterful Inherent Vice in 2013 and directed two music videos for her last year), recently showed Larry King how to play the harp; here she shows Kimmel & Co. that the recorder isn’t just for middle-school music students.
