Last night, VICE threw an after-party in New York and invited a slew of musicians to perform, including Charli XCX and Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino. Arcade Fire’s Win Butler also took to the stage, where he was accompanied by Kurt Vile for a rousing rendition of David Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel.†Arcade Fire and Bowie notably had a close relationship — Bowie provided vocals for the title track of their last album, Refleckor, and the band honored the music legend with a parade in New Orleans weeks after his death.
