While Disney preps its live-action Winnie-the-Pooh movie, Fox is making a movie about his creator. Deadline reports that Domhnall Gleeson and Margot Robbie have signed on for the A.A. Milne biopic, Goodbye Christopher Robin, which tells how Milne’s stories, inspired by his son’s toys, “brought hope and comfort to England after the First World War,†but at no small cost to his family. Gleeson will play the author, while Robbie will play his wife, Daphne. No word on who’s playing the inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood, but you gotta bet Ray Romano’s the front-runner for Eeyore.
